10-Minute Training Tactical Decision Games (TDGs) are short, scenario-based command exercises designed to strengthen decision-making, size-up, and operational judgment for company and chief officers.
Each training is based on an actual incident and presents progressively revealed cues, conditions, and constraints like those encountered on the fireground. These TDGs challenge participants to identify key risks, select strategy, prioritize tactical objectives, and adapt as conditions evolve.
Every scenario includes recommended “additional learning” activities to support deeper discussion, skill development, and follow-on training.
This training system supports individual study, company-level drills, and facilitated group discussions within a structured officer development program.
